I recently stayed at Hostal Providencia in Santiago for a week-long vacation. The location was perfect, with easy access to two metro stations and bus stops within walking distance. The friendly receptionists spoke fluent English and accepted credit card payment without the additional 19% tax. The clean rooms and comfy beds were complemented by daily housekeeping and a locker in the room. The hot water for showering and reliable Wi-Fi throughout the hostel were a bonus. The buffet breakfast, with its variety of options such as bread, eggs, fruits, and more, was excellent. The hostel's size allowed me to meet and socialize with over 200 fellow guests, and the onsite bar added to the overall enjoyment of my stay.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The hostel had a modern and spacious layout, perfect for meeting new people. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the stay enjoyable.
The kitchens were a bit small and can get crowded. The noise level could be an issue, especially with the bar being heard from the rooms.

The hostel had clean and comfortable accommodations, with well-equipped kitchens and spacious lockers in the bedrooms. The bathrooms were always clean and had warm water. The breakfast provided was good. The hostel's location was convenient, with easy access to a nearby metro station.
I didn't appreciate the fact that the only way to avoid paying the local Sales Tax was by paying with a credit card in USD. Additionally, I felt a bit uncomfortable with the large number of cameras throughout the hostel, which gave it a somewhat intrusive atmosphere.
